This project consisted of the replacement of all Unit Ventilators and refurbishment of AHUs in the facility. The unit ventilators have steam heating coils and are equipped with chilled water coils for connection to a future chilled water system. During this project a new DDC system was also installed.
Columbine Engineering designed the boiler replacement of the old fire tube boiler with new high efficiency condensing boilers. The project consisted of installing (2) new Riello Array boilers, expansion tanks, air/dirt separator, and new piping within the boiler room. The new boilers offer built in redundancy and up to a 98% operating efficiency.
